Well, the baby blanket has been done for about 2 weeks now. I finished my niece's scarf last night. Have to take pictures of both to add to my webpage. Now, I am on to working on the afghan for my niece and a sweater for me. Slowly getting some old projects done so I can start some new items. Once as the afghan gets done, I will cast on the fronts of a sweater for my mother, the back is done. Then, I have 2 more scarfs on the needles and will work on them one night or so a week along with my sweater and my mothers. When those are done, I will either cast on for my nephews Bday (September) sweater or another sweater for me but probably his as it is one I made him a few hears ago and will be in different colors this time. I was at his fathers last week and he had it on, it is getting small and I asked if he wanted another and he said ok. When he got his Candide sweater this past birthday he asked where the hood was so this sweater has a hood and he likes it so he will get another. I am thinking Navy and Red as I have this chunky acrylic in the stash, his original was denim color. I bought a ton of this acrylic at a online yarn shop going out of business sale a few years ago and it knits up quickly (my niece got a sweater out of it also) and is easy for their father to wash. Plus, my sister used to give away their sweaters when they no longer fit and I didn't want the new owners to have to worry about washing them. My sister got told to watch out for his Candide sweater and to make sure she washes it. She is a knitter and prefers wool so I know she will take care of it, I just hope it doesn't end up at his fathers in the washer. So far, it has stayed at his mothers and is safe. The niece and nephew are getting older though and aren't growing that much, and I have been stashing up wool projects for them in the future.

The Fuzzy Feet are dry. Pictures are up on my webpage and the finished ones will be emailed to Kate soon. Thanks to Kate for hosting the Fuzzy Feet Felt Along. I wouldn't have gotten them done with her and the Felt Along. I would have waited till Fall to start them as gifts but am so glad to have a pair done so I can start planning what colors to make the gift ones. Mail brought one thing I was waiting for plus the new VK so only one call to make on Monday. The new VK is ok, nothing in there will fit me so it will just go in the pile of other knitting magazines that don't have anything in them that I like. Maybe my niece will like something in it. I am working on the baby blanket today, almost half done.

FO, FO. The second slipper is done and they have both been felted. Three trips through the washer and they are done. They are now in the window awaiting some sun tomorrow. These were a lot of fun and will be my Xmas or Birthday presents for a few people next year. Now, back to my nieces scarf, then the baby blanket, then the sweater for me. Can't wait to finish all three as I want to start a sweater in the new Jameison's book. Two scarfs, and an afghan will stay on the back burner but I will start the fronts to a sweater for my mother when I get to start the Jameison sweater. We got about 8 inches of snow and the driveway and walkway are now clear so I can enjoy the weekend and just knit and read. Now, if only the mail would bring two things I am waiting for so I don't have to make 2 calls on Monday, I will be very happy indeed.

Well, I am on the foot of my second slipper. I would probably have finished but I got lazy in the afternoon and stopped working on it. Instead, I watched the weather channel, read a bit, and just laid around. I ended up using my second skein when I started the foot section. The rest of this skein will be part of another set of fuzzy feet in the future. In between shoveling tomorrow, I should finish my second slipper and then can't wait to felt them.

My first slipper is done. I started the second and am on the cuff. These seem to be a very quick knit. I should finish the second one by Friday and then will felt them over the weekend. My dog's test results are fine so for now we will monitor her seizures and if they start to come too frequently, she will go on medication.

I have started my fuzzy feet. Only on the cuff but hope to get the cuff done and part of the heel done tonight. My dog had a seizure yesterday so I called the vet and went there today as they are coming about twice a month now. Have to call back tomorrow for the blood test results.

I decided I needed a hat to walk my dog in the cold weather so I made one this weekend. The picture is up on my webpage under pictures. It came out cute. I am also starting my fuzzy feet slippers tomorrow with the rest of the fuzzy feet knitalong. The pattern is on Knitty.com.
